City Commission Approves Interim City Manager Compensation

The Liberal City Commission met on Tuesday evening and after hearing the City’s Audit Report, approved the report as presented. The Commission the approved the contract with Hay, Rice, and Associates to conduct the audit for next year.

Commissioners approved the rezoning of the property located at 304 E Pancake from a C-2 to an R-3. The developer is wanting to make studio apartments at that location.

Commissioners also approved refurbishing a slide at the water park, refinishing the gym floor at the Rec Center with insurance paying half and approved B&G Services to build aprons for the splash pads for an amount not to exceed $55,000.00.

The Interim City Managers compensation was approved for a salary of $135,000.00
