Cimarron County OK Accident Claims a Fort Worth Texas Man

A fatality accident occurred on Wednesday September 6th, at approximately 4:08 am on US-287 approximately 14 miles north of Boise City, OK in Cimarron County.

A 2013 Volvo semi driven by Alexander Pimienta Diaz, age 32 of Houston, TX, was stationary in the northbound lane of US-287 at a construction zone. A 2023 GMC Savana 3500 van driven by Kedrick Deashone Green, 40, of Fort Worth, TX was also northbound on US-287 and failed to yield to stopped traffic. Green was pinned until freed by Boise City FD at 7:00 am. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Diaz was not injured.
