An injury accident occurred September 16 at approximately 4:00pm on US 56 Highway, approximately 6 miles Northeast of Keyes, OK in Cimarron County.

A 2005 Nissan Xterra driven by Rosario M. Hoffman, 58, of Santa Fe, NM was eastbound on US 56 when her vehicle departed the roadway to the right, she over corrected, then departed the roadway to the left and over turned one time. Hoffman was transported by Elkhart EMS to Morton County Hospital in Elkhart, Kansas, then flown by LifeSafe to Saint Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. She was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal and head injuries. Seatbelts were in use at the time of the accident
