Cesar Pavia Wins Newton Meet

ThisNewton meet would consist of 12 teams of 4-6A schools around the Wichita area. It was a
competitive meet with a little bit of wind. Leading the girls like she has all year was Daniela
Cerda’s taking a 2nd place finish at 20:38. Girls would have 3 more medal Janaya at 6th, Jenny
Casas at 17th and Isabela Gutierrez at 19th. Girls would take 3rd place out of 12 teams.
Boys Cesar Pavia would take 1st place with a time of 16:26. The boys were down a runner on
the varsity and would finish 6th out of the 12 teams.
