Car Hits Turning Semi and Injures Woman in Haskell County

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a car struck a turning semi in Haskell County Friday sending one woman to the hospital. It happened at about 12:40 Friday afternoon on Highway 83 and 70th Road 11 miles north of Sublette. A semi was headed north when it turned and was struck by a 2005 Nissan passenger car which was headed south. The driver of the Nissan 21 year old Christi Wilson of Garden City was taken to Satanta District Hospital with injuries. The driver and passenger in the semi, Cornelius and Lena Guenter of Sublette were not injured.
