Cameron Riley is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal freshman golfer Cameron Riley is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Riley shot a 79 for fourth place at Willow Tree against WAC competition on Tuesday. He was Liberal’s best golfer in WAC competition this season placing ninth in the WAC and just missing all WAC consideration. He also plays basketball. He and his teammates compete at regionals at Auburn Hills Gold Course Monday. The Redskins compete with Andover, Andover Central, Goddard, Goddard Eisenhower, Kapaun, Ark City, and the host Bishop Carroll. The top three teams at the regional and the next five best individual scores will qualify for state.
