THE famous Olney Pancake Race took place this morning (Shrove Tuesday) with many people turning out to watch Olney school children get flipping and the women only race.

Devon Byrne won the main race, making history with her record time of 55.6 seconds.

In second place was Emma Makeland with 1.17.5 seconds and close behind in third was Saija Linden with 1.17.7.
