Bulldogs Take a Bite Out of Liberal

Hooker won their 4th consecutive game over Liberal and it was not close.   The Bulldogs beat the Redskins 75-37 Tuesday night at the Dog House in Hooker.  LHS had been playing better with wins in two of their last three heading into the Hooker game.

Hooker used dizzying ball movement against Liberal’s zone to lead 20-11 after one.  Liberal’s best spurt was the beginning of the second quarter when they cut the lead to 22-19.  Hooker led 35-20 at the half after a 13-1 run.  It was 60-29 after three.

For Hooker, Nate Hidalgo scored 20 while Keilan Robinson had 14, Slade Stalder scored 12, and Trace Duncan had 10.   Zayden Martinez was Epic Touch Player of the Game with 17.

Hooker is 16-1 and Liberal is 5-9.  Liberal hosts homecoming Friday night at about 7:45 on 1270 and 92.3.
