Brownback To Host Tawainese Delegation

Kansas officials host a trade delegation
from Taiwan this week to reaffirm the Asian country’s purchases of
Kansas agriculture products.
Gov. Sam Brownback and Agriculture Secretary Dale Rodman will
welcome the visitors Thursday at a public ceremony at the
Statehouse.
The officials will sign a joint document signifying Taiwan’s
intent to buy 62.5 million bushels of Kansas hard red winter wheat
in 2012 and 2013.
The purchase has an estimated value of $484.5 million.
