Boise City Woman Injured in Accident

An injury accident occurred on Wednesday September 5 at approximately 6:15pm on US 385, .4 mile south
of EW27, approximately 5.8 miles south and 2.3 miles west of Boise, Oklahoma in
Cimarron County.
The accident occurred when 2008 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Laura Michelle Torres, 30, of Boise
City, Oklahoma was northbound on US385, when she failed to stay in a single lane of traffic, departed
roadway to the right, over-corrected coming back onto the highway crossing the center line. She
over-corrected again, went into a driver’s side broadslide, going into the east ditch, rolling 1 ¼ times
coming to rest on the driver’s side heading southbound. Torres was transported by Boise City EMS to Cimarron Memorial Hospital in Boise City, Oklahoma.
She was admitted in stable condition with head and arm injuries.
