Board of Education Meets

The USD 480 Board of Education met Monday for a regularly scheduled meeting. The board approved the following items:

Consent agenda; to accept the Microsoft Licensing Agreement; the purchase of ESL Materials K-6th; the purchase of materials for the Dual Language Program at Sunflower; accepting a Memorandum of Understanding between Head Start and USD 480; the agreement of one of the Summer 2010 District Concrete Repairs; 2010 Summer District Carpet/Coving/Tile Replacements; the approval of contracts with Parents and Children Together (PACT) Local Part C – Infant and Toddler Program; to purchase of Science Equipment; the purchase of 50 Lenovo Desktop Computers; the agreement to remove abestos abatement in the basement of Central Office; and Certified and classified transfers, resignations, and empolyemnt.

The meeting was Lance Stout’s first meeting as Superintendent. The board will next meet on Monday, June 28.
