A strong second half propelled the Seward Lady Saints to a blowout win at the Pratt Beaver Dome Saturday afternoon. Seward pounded Pratt 86-45. Seward out scored the Lady Beavers 52-23 in the second half.
Seward led 21-8 after one quarter. Pratt played a solid second quarter out scoring Seward 15-14 making it 35-23 SCCC at the half. Pratt started the second half strongly cutting the Lady Saint lead to six. But Seward led 59-37 at the end of three.
Seward shot 58 percent from the field making 6-14 three pointers. They were 14-19 from the foul line. Seward out-rebounded Pratt 38-19. Pratt committed 22 turnovers and Seward had 14. Seward held PCC to 29 percent shooting and 4-24 from three point range.
Avery Marchino scored 17 to be Epic Touch Player of the Game. Kylee Hunt scored 13. Biyannah Ellis had 12.
Pratt is 6-15 overall and 1-14 in the KJCCC. Seward wins their 10th straight over Pratt improving to 14-8 overall and 9-7 in the Jayhawk. Seward hosts Dodge City Saturday at 2pm with Saints Shoot-around at 1:45 on 107.5.
