The Liberal Bee Jays scored nine in the third on the way to a 15-8 win over the North Platte Plainsmen in North Platte Thursday night.  The B.J.’s scored one in the second and nine in the third.  North Platte countered with a five run third to make it 10-5.  The Bee Jays led 12-8 after five.  Liberal scored in all but two innings.  North Platte out-hit Liberal 12-11 but the Plainsmen made four errors.  Isaac Webb was 3-4 with three runs and two RBI’s.  Owen Barger and River Jackson had two hits a piece.  Jackson Schofield drove home two runs.  Liberal pitching allowed eight earned runs and 12 hits but struck out nine and walked two.  Tristin Crusenberry and Hunter Phillips pitched four innings a piece.  Jett Brown worked a scoreless ninth.

Liberal is 4-0 and North Platte is 0-8.  The Bee Jays face the Western Nebraska Pioneers in Gering Friday night at 7:35 cst.
