Bee Jays Run Rule Renegades

KSCB News - June 8, 2010 12:00 am

Liberal looked sharp in one last tune up for Jayhawk League play. The BJ’s handled the Denver Renegades 17-0 in seven innings Monday night at Brent Gould Field. Graceland’s Hernon Ramos and McNeese State’s Renny Weber combined for a one hit shutout. The Bee Jays played errorless baseball behind the duo. Liberal scored eight in the second and eight in the sixth in rout to another lobsided win. College of Sequoias Joe Perez lifted his second homer of the season over the left field wall. The Bee Jays are 4-0 with three wins coming in run rules. The BJ’s out scored the Bombers and Renegades from the Rocky Mountain League 64-18. The Bee Jays open their Jayhawk League schedule Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. against the Dodge City A’s. The Bank of Beaver City is the buyout sponsor and will give away cash prizes. The game will air on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
