Kimberly Barnett, former respiratory therapist at the Memorial Hospital of Texas Co.(MHTC), who was charged with embezzlement last week has failed to appear in court for her initial appearance.

According to reports in the Guymon Daily Herald, Barnett was out on a $20,000 bond. Her bonding agent, A-1 Tony’s Bail Bonds declined to comment on the matter. Since she did not appear in court for her initial appearance, a bench warrant has been ordered in the amount of $20,000.

Barnett allegedly stole medication from MHTC last week. According to the probable cause affidavit, she was suicidal and questioning the lethal affects of several of the medications. She then allegedly took the medication and was arrested in Seward Co., Kan. The items missing from MHTC were valued at $1373. Other offenses she faces include burglary in the second degree, grand larceny and knowingly concealing stolen property.
