Ayden Juarez is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal sophomore powerlifter Ayden Juarez is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Juarez won state at Pittsburg High School on Saturday.  Juarez was the 5A M220 state champion.  He beat the all time state record by 20 pounds for highest total with 1,245.  His bench was 375 lbs while his power clean was 350 and his squat was 520.  Juarez is also involved in football and track and field.  Juarez and the Redskin powerlifting team will compete at 6A state in Wichita in March 25.
