An ATV accident occurred Thursday morning at approximately 10:36am on Edelle Street in Sublette.
A 2017 Polaris ATV being driven by Claudy Reynolds,88, of Sublette, was traveling eastbound on Edelle Ave. The ATV became unstable, crossed the center line, and entered the north ditch. The Polaris overturned, coming to final rest on it’s driver’s side facing west in the north ditch.
Reynolds was taken to the Satanta District Hospital and was then flown to Wesley Med Center in Wichita with serious injuries.
A passenger on the ATV, James Barton,69, of Sublette was taken to the Satanta District Hospital also with serious injuries.
