Another Highway 54 Crash Causes Injures Elderly Women

Two cars collided Tuesday morning on Highway 54 near Fowler landing one woman in the hospital. A 2003 Chevy Impala and a 2006 Cadillac were headed east on 54 when the Impala pulled onto the shoulder of the road and stopped. The car then attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway when the Cadillac struck the Impala. One of the passengers in the Cadillac, 81 year old Betty Kaufman of Potwin was injured and taken to Meade County Hospital with injuries. The crash occurred at about 10:42 near Fowler.
