Liberal junior forward Andre Jackson is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Jackson averages eight points and six rebounds per game for the 8-11 Redskins. Liberal is 4-3 in the WAC and has won five straight games. Jackson transferred to LHS last year from South Carolina.
