Alex Lopez is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior cross country runner Alex Lopez is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Lopez was second at Hugoton Saturday in a season best time of 18:15.  Lopez won the Meade meet and was third at Hesston.  Lopez is a three sport athlete participating in cross country, basketball, and track.  Lopez is on a Western Athletic Conference Student Advisory Board.  He and the Redskins run a Lawrence on Saturday.
