An injury accident involving an airplane Tuesday afternoon has injured one individual. The accident occurred at 2:45pm 7 miles East of the Stanton County Airport. A 120 fixed wing single-engine aircraft, being flown by Blake Allen Gerard, 36, of Collinsville Oklahoma was attempting a flyby of people on the ground when the left wing caught in the dirt and spun to the ground.

Gerard was not injured but a passenger in the plane, Matthew Allen Gerard, 13, of Collinsville Oklahoma, was taken to the Stanton County Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
