Liberal sophomore wrestler Aileen Figueroa is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Figueroa finished third in the 235 pound weight class at 6A state in Overland Park last weekend.  Figueroa went 4-1 against state competition.  She finishes 28-8 in her sophomore season.  She has been to state in both of her wrestling seasons.  Figueroa is also involved in Key Club, yearbook, and soccer.
