Adriane Hatcher Steps Down At Baker Arts Center

KSCB News - December 15, 2011 11:42 am

After nearly four years with the Baker Arts Center, Adriane Hatcher has informed the Board of Directors of her intention to resign as Executive Director effective January 13, 2012.
“I wish to thank the community and the Baker Arts Center board, staff, and volunteers for welcoming me so warmly to Liberal and to my position at the Center. It has been a pleasure to be a part of an organization that continues to be the cornerstone of Liberal’s arts and cultural community. I wish the organization much success and will continue to invest in the Baker Arts Center as a donor and volunteer.”
Board members are currently reviewing the Executive Director position to determine a plan of action for the future. Until a decision is made, the responsibilities will be shared by the board and other competent staff members of the Baker Arts Center.
Baker Arts Center’s goal has been and remains to be “to enhance the cultural lives of all people in the area.” It is located at 624 N Pershing Ave in Liberal and online at www.bakerartscenter.org.
