Accident Injures Liberal Woman

On Monday, December 5, 2011, at about 3:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to an injury accident in the 2400 block of North Western.
Investigating officers discovered that a black 2003 GMC Yukon driven by a 28 year old female was exiting Cimarron Mobile Home Park. A white Ford F150 driven by a male was travelling south on Western Avenue and struck the Yukon.
The female was transported to Southwest Medical Center by Seward County Emergency Medical Services for a complaint of neck pain. The male walked away from the accident before the arrival of police officers.
The woman was cited for failing to yield. The male will be served a citation for leaving the scene of an injury accident.
