Accident in Cimarron County injures Boise City Man

An injury accident occurred on Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm on US-56, three miles west of Boise City.

A 2004 Ford F150 pickup being driven by Francisco Nicholas Ortiz, age 19, of Boise City, Oklahoma, was eastbound on US-56 and for unknown reason, departed the roadway to the right, rolling approximmately four times landing on its wheels in the pasture.

Ortiz was transported by Boise City EMS to Cimarron Memorial Hospital in Boise City, and later transported by Apollo Med Flight to University Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. He was admitted for head and arm injuries.
Listed in stable condition.
