Abbie Dowell is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior swimmer and cheerleader Abbie Dowell is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Dowell has finished second three straight weeks in the 100 butterfly.  She helped the 400 freestyle relay team take third at Hays Monday for their first top three finish of the season.   Dowell is a six time National Cheerleaders Association All American.  She has made the first round of cuts as she is trying out for the cheer team at Texas Tech University.  Dowell is valedictorian at LHS as she approaches graduation day May 14.  Dowell has also been involved in track, cheer, NHS, LHS Book Club, competitive dance, and LHS Model U.N.
