Repairs to the US-160/Cimarron Valley Railroad crossing at the Kansas/Colorado state line, just west of Saunders in Stanton County, will require closing US-160 temporarily. The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to close the highway to through traffic at the state line beginning Monday, March 23, and re-open the highway by Thursday, March 26.

In Kansas, the official detour route will follow US-160, K-27 and Stanton County Road 12 west from Johnson City. In Colorado, detoured traffic will follow Colorado Highway 116, US-287/385 through Springfield and US-160.
