The USD 480 Board of Education will meet tonight for a regularly scheduled meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Education Service Center.

Tonight is the board’s first meeting of the 2010-11 school term, so the board will re-align and vote for President and Vice-President. Dan Diepenbrock currently holds the President’s chair, while Dr. Jim Jury is the current Vice-President.

The board will also set the dates for their meetings for the school term, and decide upon what committees to serve on. The board must also decide upon an official newspaper for the district to print their legal notices.

The meeting can be seen on Windjammer Communication Channel 16. The meeting is open to the public.
