Jayhawks Land in Liberal

Former basketball All Americans Wayne Simien and Bud Stallworth played golf with Southwest Kansas KU fans Friday at the Liberal Country Club. The Jayhawk Summer Tour ventured to Liberal again this summer. Director of high school relations and player development Lee Fobbs, basketball assistant Kyle Keller, former KU football player and Williams Educational Fund member Banks Floodman, associate athletics director of facilities Brad Nachtigal, and KU Alumni Association members Marcus Hicks, Danny Lewis, Jake Strecker, Hugoton native Heath Peterson, and Senior Vice President of the alumni association Mike Davis attended the event. Simien, Stallworth, Nachtigal, and Fobbs be featured during the Sportsguys next week. The show airs weekday mornings between 7:37 and 9 a.m. on Talkradio 1270, Windjammer channel 8, and kscbnews.net.
