A fatality accident occurred on Friday, February 14th at approximately 7:39 am on County Road Y at Mile 30, approximately 1 mile south and 1 mile west of Guymon, OK.

A 2013 Peterbilt tractor driven by Cory D. Hammonds, 59, of Perryton, TX was eastbound on County Road Y. A 2014 Ram 1500 being driven by Treyton K. Mussman, 27, of Guymon was northbound on County Road 30. The Peterbilt struck the drivers side of the 2014 Ram 1500 in the intersection for an unknown reason.

Hammonds was transported by EMS to Guymon Memorial Hospital, from there he was medi-flighted by Apollo to a Texas Trauma center with trunk internal injuries.

Mussman was pronounced deceased at the scene by Medical Examiner investigator.
