Wanda Marie Morrell, 71, of Tyrone, OK passed away on Monday February 10, 2025 at her home.

She was born on September 7, 1953 to Kenneth Nelson and Carolyn (Daniels) Rittenhouse at Macomb, IL.

On May 24, 1972 Wanda married Scott Morrell in Macomb, IL; he preceded her in death on February 14, 2023 after 50 years of marriage.

Wanda had worked for 14 years as a Feed Truck Driver for Hitch Feeders #1 before her retirement. She enjoyed planting lilacs & vines for the hummingbirds, crocheting, and reading Christian romance novels. She adored her grandchildren and cherished every moment with them.

Wanda is survived by her children, Stacy Marie (Mark) Vargas, Scott Anthony (Shannon) Morrell, Bryan Michael (Kathie) Morrell, Christopher Robert (Deborah) Morrell, and Skyler Brian Nelson; Grandchildren, Kenneth Scott Morrell, Shaina Nicole Vargas, Kaschen lee Anthony Morrell, Karson Dale Morrell, Colby Kern Morrell, Brooke Ann Morrell, Krystal Marie Clark, DeeDee Brightel,Kathleen (Shawn) Bickford, JoAnna Rae Beck, Jeanne Cookson, and Virginia M. (Taylor) Moore; Several Great and Great Great Grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and many more people that called her “Mom” or “Nonnie”.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and Grandson, Joseph Kern Morrell.

Per Wanda’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A family held Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm, Monday February 24, 2025 at the Church of Christ in Hooker, OK.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Oklahoma Panhandle Partners, 316 Northridge Circle, Guymon, OK 73942.
