The USD 480 Board of Education met Monday evening at 6:30 pm and in new business approved the audit as presented.

The Board approved the Gym Floor refinishing at EMS, SRMS, LHS Big gym and East Campus Gym. Kansas Gym Floors received the bid in the amount of $19,125 which is less than a 2% increase over last year.

The Board gave approval for a new Assistant Activities Director for LHS and approval to revise the position for the Newcomer’s Center Enrollment and Program Specialist by upgrading it to a coordinator and adding supervisory responsibilities to the job description.

Approved were the Signing Bonuses as Presented.

In an added item the acceptance of the resignation of Misty De La O was approved as was the Waiver of Liquidated Damages for Ms. De La O.
