Malvin Love, 70, of Liberal passed away on Thursday January 30, 2025.
He was born on July 5, 1954 to George and Victoria Norah Love at Dumas, AR.
Malvin’s family later moved to Liberal Kansas in 1959 where he grew up following his older brother John around. He attended Washington Elementary, South Junior High, and Liberal High School where he graduated in 1972. Malvin started working at Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company at 17 from where he later retired after 41 years as a maintenance mechanic. He married his long time love Shirley Ross in 1984. Malvin was an exceptional pillar of the community known by many and always went out of his way to help others. He cherished his family with every inch of his body, but his kids and grandkids were his entire world!

Siblings: Larvell Love (Alice) of Houston, TX, Arnell Love of Riverside, CA, Lori Mason (Mike) of Port Arthur, TX; Susie Love of Houston, TX; Irvin Love of Tucson, AZ; Darlene Randel (George) of Liberal, KS; Verdale King (James) of Fort Smith, AR; and Richard Livingston (Tanika) of Bowling Green, KY.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Victoria Love, brother, John Love, Ex-wife, Shirley Love, and grandson, Alvin Ross.
Viewing will be 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Miller Mortuary.
Funeral Services will be 1:30 pm Friday, February 7, 2025 at South Church of God in Liberal.
Burial will follow at the Liberal City Cemetery.
