Victoria Aurora Jiminez

After a long and amazing life, Victoria Aurora Jiminez, age 96, died on Monday, January 27, 2025, at her residence in Edmond, Oklahoma.

She was born on March 23, 1928, to Delfino S. Sandoval and Altagracia (Casados) Quintana in Gallegos, New Mexico.

On February 18, 1950, she was united in marriage to Donaciano “Don” G. Jiminez, who preceded her on June 6, 2005. Victoria was a devoted mother, cherished by her two sons and three daughters and grandchildren. She worked as a skilled machine operator for Beech Aircraft Manufacturing. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

She is survived by her Son, Joe Jiminez and his wife, Sharon of Denver, Colorado,

Georgia Quattrone and her husband, Larry of Edmond, Oklahoma,

Phillip Pierce and his wife, Holly,

Pamela Reeves and her husband, Billy,

Andre Jiminez and his husband, Sam Palmer,

Yvette Alvarez and her husband, David,

Joshua Quattrone and his wife, Karissa,

Caleb Quattrone,

Misty Celmer and her husband, Andrew,

Victoria is also preceded in death by her parents, Delfino and Altagracia Quintana.

Viewing will be from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Rosary will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 7, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 7, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Reverend Charles Seiwert will be celebrating.

An interment will follow at the Liberal Cemetery.
