Steven “Steve” Gene Holcomb, age 71, passed away on January 16, 2025, at his residence in Hugoton, Kansas. He was born January 31, 1953, in Rolla, Kansas, to Gene Floyd and Ruby Laverne (Cooper) Holcomb.

Steve spent his formative years in Rolla, where he completed high school before enlisting in the United States Army, serving his country with pride. Following his military service, he began to establish his family and later relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada.

He is survived by his four children: Wayne Holcomb and his wife Kayla; Calvin Holcomb; Melinda Imler and her husband Shawn; and Samantha Holcomb. Steve is also survived by his brother Chuck Holcomb, along with eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Gene and Laverne Holcomb.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family burial service will be conducted.
