SCCC Foundation to host Presidential Gala on March 22

The Seward County Community College Foundation President’s Gala has been rescheduled for March 22, 2025. A semi-formal banquet event, the gala will treat guests to a sit-down dinner, a presentation by a well-known and prestigious college supporter and live music. The festive evening serves as a fundraiser and an opportunity for donors to relax and interact in an environment filled with Saints celebratory spirit.

“We’ve wanted to do something like this for a while, and give our major donors a really special experience,” said SCCC President Brad Bennett. “It’s an opportunity to support the college and to sit back and reflect on its importance and reputation for excellence. With live music, people can even get on the dance floor if they choose.”

SCCC Executive Director of Development Teresa Randle said she’s excited to host the dinner and dance.

“Initially, we envisioned this as a winter gala and are looking forward to bringing that to our stakeholders and donors,” she said. “Scheduling factors required us to move it forward a couple months, so March 22 is our new date.”

Tickets and table sponsorships will provide two avenues for individuals, businesses and organizations to take part in the gala. More details will be provided in weeks to come.
