The Liberal girls led by as many as 10 in the second half only to see the Woodward Boomerettes scored 28 second half points to stun the Lady Redskins 68-58 Tuesday night at Boomer Fieldhouse in Woodward.

Woodward led 17-14 after one quarter but after a Kylie Rhine step back three at the end of the first half, Liberal led Woodward 32-26 at halftime.  LHS led 36-26 with 5:10 remaining in the third.  The Lady Red led 45-40 after three only to see Woodward out score Liberal 28-13 in the fourth quarter.

Liberal went 3-17 from three point range while Woodward scored mainly on lay-ups and two footers.  The Boomerettes only shot six three pointers.  LHS was 17-21 at the foul line and Woodward was 11-16.

Kylie Rhine scored another career high with 19 points.  Shamari Lewis and Zoey Torres scored 12 a piece.

Woodward is 5-4 and Liberal is 4-4.  Liberal plays at Garden City Tuesday night at 6pm with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and 92.3.
