A Hooker resident is behind bars after allegedly committing rape by instrumentation and lewd molestation.

According to a report in the Guymon Daily Herald, Glen R. Kingsland, 45, of Hooker, was taken into custody earlier this month on a felony bogus check charge and later apprehended by the Hooker Police Department for allegedly sexually abusing two female juveniles.

Kingsland was released on a $50,000 bond. He is being charged with two felonies — Rape in the First Degree by Instrumentation and Lewd Molestation. If convicted, Kingsland could face prison time of not less than five years to no more than life without parole.
