A fatality accident occurred Tuesday morning, December 24th at approximately 12:06 am on US-183 and E 860 Rd, 13 miles north of Arapaho, Oklahoma in Custer County.

A 2005 Honda Accord being driven by Eric Soto, 36, of Guymon and a 2017 Chevrolet being driven by Jessica W Stewart, 44, of Elk City were involved in the accident which is still under investigation.

Soto was pronounced dead at the scene by Sinor EMS personnel and transported to the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s office in Oklahoma City by Lee Funeral home.

Stewart was transported by Sinor EMS to Great Plains Regional Hospital in Elk City, Oklahoma and later transferred by Elk City EMS to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Admitted in fair condition with trunk internal and leg injuries.
