The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place Nov. 20, 2024, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

Included in the approved bids was in Seward County, U.S. 54, from 0.48 mile northeast of Road R northeast to the Meade/Seward county line, milling and overlay, 8.4 miles, J & R Sand Company Inc., Liberal, Kansas, $2,113,474.59.
