Following the return of Seward County Community College students, faculty, and to campus after the Thanksgiving break, the college is prepared to dive into finals and end-of-semester activities.
Here’s a quick round-up of college dates and deadlines.
• Final exams for evening classes begin Wednesday, Dec. 4, and continue through Dec. 10.
• Last day of classes is Dec. 11.
• Moonlight Finals breakfast, free for all SCCC students, will be Dec. 11, with executive team members serving up pancakes, eggs, bacon and more in the SCCC Cafeteria from 8-9:30 p.m.
• Final exams for day classes take place Thursday, Dec. 12, Friday, Dec. 13, and Monday, Dec. 16.
• Rental return and book buyback at the Saints Bookstore also runs Dec. 12-13 and Dec. 16.
• Faculty submit final grades to the registrar’s office at noon Dec. 17.
• SCCC’s Winter Session classes begin Dec. 17 and continue through Jan. 5, 2025. All Winter Session classes are offered fully online.
• Campus closes for winter break Dec. 23, and reopens Thursday, Jan. 2, following its regular business hours of 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
• Faculty return to campus Jan. 6, and spring semester classes begin Jan. 13.
