Roberta Mae Hatfield, aged 85, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024 in Grand Junction Colorado after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 28, 1938 in Fowler Kansas, Roberta was known for her elegance and style, which she carried into her career in the fashion industry. She embodied a life of class and dedication always prioritizing her family and living life to the fullest.

Roberta is survived by her daughters Christy Hergert and Lisa Baker; son, Rodger Hatfield; grandchildren, Echo (Corban) Garcia, Ryan Hergert, Natasha Edwards, and Nathan Viegra; and numerous great-grandchildren. Her granddaughter, Candice Kline, preceded her in death.

A graduate of Fowler High School, Roberta’s educational journey laid a solid foundation for her successful career. Beyond her professional life, she was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she found spiritual solace and community.

Roberta’s hobbies included gardening, crafting, and participating in book club. She had a profound love for the outdoors, often seen mowing her lawn with her cherished Zero Turn mower, which reflected her spirited and independent nature. As an avid pet lover, she found joy in her grand dog Gus, her beloved cat Gooey, and many other 4-legged family members.

A celebration of life is planned for the spring of 2025, where family and friends can gather to honor Roberta’s vibrant life. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Hope West, a cherished organization so needed in the community. Through her enduring grace and commitment to her loved ones, Roberta Mae Hatfield leaves behind a legacy of love and elegance that will be cherished by all who knew her
