Redskins Blank Panthers on Senior Night

The Liberal soccer team blanked Great Bend 6-0 on Senior Night Tuesday night at Redskin Field.  Liberal scored three goals in both halves.  Giezi Gonzalez scored the first goal at the 34:25 mark.  Diego Pavia gave the Redskins their second goal at the 20:15 mark.  Ariel Gaytan scored at the 18:25 mark for the 3-0 lead.  Giezi Gonzalez scored his second goal at the 37:51 mark.  Suain Moncayo scored his 66th career goal at the 25:38 mark.  Ariel Gaytan scored his second goal of the night for a 6-0 lead.  Alan Baeza had two assists.  Suain Moncayo, Josh Garcia, and Giezi Gonzalez added assists.  Great Bend is 2-13 and 0-8 in the WAC.  Liberal is 11-3-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the WAC.  Liberal plays at Dodge City Thursday night at about 6:30.
