Relief Efforts Underway for Hurricane Victims

Liberal KS — Hat Creek Butchery, in partnership with Falcons Booster Club, Fellowship Baptist Church, National Beef, Conestoga Energy, and Keating Tractor, is mobilizing efforts to provide relief for the victims of Hurricane Helene. The community is invited to participate by donating essential items to support those affected by this devastating storm. The trailer is scheduled to depart for the affected areas on October 10, 2024.

We are currently accepting donations of the following items:

– Non-perishable foods: Canned goods, dry goods, cases of bottled water, Gatorade
– Paper products: Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins
– Personal care items: Non-electric can openers, sanitizing wipes
– Baby and child necessities: Baby food, formula, diapers (all sizes), new pillows, blankets, bedding
– Pet supplies: Dog and cat food
– Emergency essentials: First aid kits, candles, lighters, matches, batteries (all sizes), propane, tarps, bug spray
– Other: Non-refrigerated and refrigerated food items, household goods

Drop-Off Locations:
– Fellowship Baptist Church, 310 W. Pancake Blvd, Liberal, KS (announcement pending for a refrigerated trailer in the parking lot)
– Hat Creek Butchery Retail Store, 30 E Tucker Rd, Liberal, KS 67901 (for refrigerated items)
– Hat Creek Butchery Processing Facility, 107 Ontario St, Plains, KS 67869
If you prefer to make a monetary donation instead of providing items, checks can be made payable to Falcons Booster Club, with “Hurricane Helene Relief Fund” noted in the memo line.
