LHS Spikers Open at Wichita North

Liberal’s volleyball team opened at Wichita North’s tournament on Saturday morning and afternoon.  They finished 0-4 to begin the season.

Liberal lost to El Dorado 10-25, 17-25.  LHS fell short against the host Wichita North 15-25, 17-25.  Liberal lost to Wichita East 15-25, 17-25.  The Redskins wrapped up the day with a loss to Salina Central 19-25, 18-25.

Shamari Lewis led Liberal with 16 kills on the day.  Klaire Anderson had the top passing average of 1.20 and Aleczis Green had five aces.

Liberal plays the Hutchinson Salt Hawks and Campus Colts on Tuesday at Hutchinson.
