Joe Denoyer - August 20, 2024 3:25 pm

Seward County is giving notice of a Hearing to Exceed the Revenue Neutral Rate and Budget Hearing. The Seward County Commission will meet on September 3rd at 5:30 pm in the Commission Chambers of the Seard County Administration Building.

The purpose of the Hearing is to answer objections of taxpayers relating to the proposed use of all funds, the amount of tax to be levied, and the Revenue Neutral Rate. Detailed information is currently at the Seward County Clerks Office and will also be available at the Hearing.

The proposed budget 2025 expenditures and the amount of 2024 Ad Valorem Tax establish the maximum limits of the 2025 Budget. The estimated tax rate is subject to change dependent on the final assessed valuation.
