Frances Kay Cathcart, 76, of Liberal, passed away on Wednesday July 31, 2024 at her home.
She was born on January 11, 1948 at Coushatta, LA; daughter of Grant Oshel and Irene (Stebens) Oshel.
On August 10, 1965 she married Gerald Lee Cathcart in Colorado. Gerald preceded her in death on July 17, 2019
Kay had worked many years as an Invoice Clerk for WalMart before retiring in 2017. She was an avid reader, enjoyed dancing, crossword puzzles, and playing online games.
Kay is survived by her Two Sons, Curtis Cathcart of Garden City, KS, Conrad Keith Cathcart and wife Lee of Calhan, CO; Two Grandsons, Joshua Cathcart of Colorado Springs, CO, Peter Cathcart of Colorado Springs, CO. Sister,; Susie Moore of Goodman, MO; Brother, Rosco Oshel of Lakin, KS.
She was also preceded in death by her Parents, Brother, Bobby Cloud and Sister, Sandy Smith.
There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.
A come and go gathering celebrating Kay’s life will be announced at a later date.
