Bee Jay Bats Silent Against Bat Cats

The Liberal Bee Jays dropped their third straight game on Thursday night.  The Great Bend Bat Cats, topped the Jays 4-1 at Veterans Park in Great Bend.  Liberal had just one hit.

Jhett Huffman pitched five innings allowing one earned run.  Logan Wade worked three scoreless innings with three strikeouts.  The Bat Cats had nine hits.

The Bee Jays fall to 22-7 and return to Rocky Mountain League play Saturday night at Brent Gould Field.  Southern Pioneer Electric is the buyout sponsor.  Host families will be recognized before the game.  The B.J. Player of the Year and Carlile Fan of the Year will be announced before the game.
