Robert “Bob” Cotter, 87, of Liberal, passed away on Tuesday July 9, 2024 at his home. He was born on October 17, 1936 to Earl and Ethel (Miller) Cotter at Buffalo, OK.

On August 11, 1990 he married Bernadean “Mema” Kraber at Liberal, KS; she preceded him in death on March 4, 2010.

Bob was a graduate of Buffalo High School: class of 1954. He worked many years around farming and also worked in the Parts Departments for Coldwater Implement, Keating Tractor, and Detroit Diesel before retirement. When he was younger he also worked for Gene Day Family Farms and helped many other Farmers when needed. He enjoyed tinkering, traveling, and antiques. Bob was also known for meticulously caring for his yard.

Bob is survived by Stepdaughter, Charla Webb (Jerry) of Goodwell, OK; Stepson, Jay D Payne and good friend Judy Bentley of Leedey, OK; Grandson, Jace Webb of Goodwell, OK; Four Sister in laws, Jean Bane of Elkhart, KS, Irma Lee Daniels of Rolla, KS, Alice Hill of Tyrone, OK, Sharon Kraber of Guymon, OK; Brother in law, Harold Hoffman of Buffalo, OK; Special Friends & Neighbors, Al and Cheryl Pittendrigh.

He was also preceded in death by his Parents; Three Sisters, Margie Hoffman, Earleen Boston, and Margaret Kinny; Three Brothers, Eldon Cotter, Wiley Cotter, and Vernon Cotter; Stepdaughter, Dixie Stockman, Son in law, Tom Stockman, Grandson, Noah Akers, Best Buddy, Ben Webb along with many other extended family.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 12, 2024, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, KS, with the family present to greet friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, 10:00 am at the Rolla Cemetery in Rolla, KS, with Pastor Jess Lee, officiating.
