The Seward County Commission met on Monday evening at 5:30 pm and for Cimarron Basin Community Corrections, approved the Fiscal Year 2025 Revised Budget signed it for submission to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
Commissioners approved payment to Attorney Colin Wood for services rendered for the Seward County Sheriff’s Department in the amount of $55,836.11, and gave permission for GMCN to move forward with issuing the bid package for the remodel of the Seward County Courthouse and allow County Administrator, April Warden, to continue to pursue grant funding for the scope development of a Courthouse Security project.
Concerning the bid for the Rodeo Grounds Bleacher Project, Commissioners approved the bid from GBS Enterprises/Bleachers International in the amount of $390,556.00.
The Commission also approved Cost Share road projects in the County.
